Angie has been working in the financial sector for over 20 years. During her career, she has received the Vision in Action award which is presented to an employee who has achieved overall best performance to both the bank and the community.
In her job, Angie is most proud of the fact that she can help and support people’s financial needs; especially those who are newly immigrated to Canada.
Angie’s parents immigrated from Korea in the late 80s when she was just a teenager. She feels that she truly understands how difficult it is to settle in Canada due to cultural differences and a lack of English language skills.
