We are committed to supporting Korean-Canadian women to be involved in all facets of society. We offer programs and opportunities for them to gain knowledge and skills, find new avenues to grow, and take care of their whole selves.
Membership in our association is open to anyone who shares in our vision, mission, and guiding principles, regardless of age, gender and ethnicity.
Our Recent Project
Community Wellness Project: Healthy Lifestyle, Healthy Outlook
The overall goal of this project was to improve the quality of life for not only our community but anyone who could benefit from the sessions. The sessions re-connected attendees with the community at large, facilitated a sense of belonging, and a sense of safety to reach out to each other for support, and encouraged sharing experiences, most of all knowing how to cope in times of adversity, feeling secure, and developing healthy lifestyles.
The project provided a broad sense of overall wellness for long-term impact, including physical, mental/emotional, financial, social, spiritual, occupational, and environmental wellness. Expert speakers offered sessions with practical information on best practices, and tips with a broad, yet specific sense of what overall wellness means for a long-term impact. This project was funded by The City of Calgary.
