This presentation is on available services provided for seniors and will demonstrate “aging in place” topics which would include planning for aging in place, home modifications that would be required, common problems as you age in your home, access to help, financial assistance for home modifications, etc.

Speaker Profile:

Vineeta Kapoor is the Manager of Information Resources at Kerby Centre and has been in this role for the past five years. She holds a dual Master’s degree in Psychology and English Literature along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling. She has over 21 years of experience working as a Psychologist and Psychotherapist with different population groups. She is a lifelong learner and has a certificate from the Hospice Foundation of America for dealing with complicated Grief in the Covid-19 era; a Certificate in the Science of Well Being from Yale University and a Conflict Management certificate from the University of California. She is passionate about helping people and guiding them to a better life.
