Event Details

Community-based activities play a huge role in the learning, knowledge-building, skills development, and networking of community members. It allows people to come together, get to know each other, and help build friendships. These activities include work-based events management, learning opportunities, recreation/leisure activities, community awareness, and independent living activities.

Join us for an informative session on how you can get involved in community activities and the opportunities that are available.

Speaker Profile

Hana Lee is a Community Developer with eight years of experience working alongside different NGOs in Calgary and over the world. She held various positions in international companies while working in Korea and Germany.

With a passion for linguistics, Lee is fluent in English, Korean, German, and German Sign Language. She specializes in gender and age equity and is passionate about educating others on information such as physical activity, nutrition, and wellness.

Hana loves to create a safe environment in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. She is inspired daily by her husband and their two kids. In her free time, Hana likes to cook, read and learn about health.
